The adventure will start at the time you set your foot on the airport of Marrakech. We will be waiting for you there to bring you to the hotel or Riad.
Day 2: From Marrakech to AzibIkkis – 3hrs30 of walk (ascent) 600m positive. Camping installation at 2300m.
The first part of your trip of the day will be done by car. We will get by minibus to Tighza where the rest of the team will be waiting for us. On the way, you can already profit from the landscape. Besides, our break in Taghza will allow us to do a small picnic for lunch. We will take back the route by foot the afternoon by crossing the valley of Ait Bouguemaz, nicknamed the happy valley, then the Arous valley to afterwards get to the sheepfold Azib Ikkis. In all, the walk will take us about three hours and a half. Overnight stay in Azib Ikkis.
Day 3: Encountering the plateau of Tarkeddit -5hrs30- 1100m of ascent, 500m of descent.
We will start the third day quite early by leaving the sheepfold of Arous to ascend to the pass of Tarkeddit. The slope is quite gentle, so the descent will be done in an hour. We will profit from the panoramic view that the places will offer to take photos. It will be as well the ideal place to contemplate the beauty of the M’goun massif. We will go down again to the plateau of tarkeddit, which is about 1100m of descent. Overnight stay.
Day 4: From Tarkeddit to Ifri n’Ait Hammou – 5hrs- slope of 1400m descent and 1100m of ascent
We will pass this forth day in mountain until the peak of M’goun (4068m). We will start by going away from Tarkeddit by taking a small hill until the path that the mule-drivers generally take. This path will lead to 3750meters of altitude. We will break at this ridge so as to admire the view. We will set our camping in Ifri n’ Ait Hammou near the spring which is at 1000meters of difference in level lower.
Day 5: Ifri n’ Ait Hammou 2700m, AmeskaneTa Htani, 6hrs of camping, 2000m
The fifth day, we will have the right to a rather easy journey as it is a descent. We will all the same leave quite early from our camping of the day before. We will take the valley of Ameskar and discover the small villages until the one of Ameskane Fougani where we will have lunch. We will have the rest of the afternoon for a sympathic walk until Ameskane Tahtani where we will spend the night camping.
Day 6: En route to Boutaghrar lodging – 5hrs30
The sixth day, we will be continuing our descent, destination Boutaghrar lodging. To get there, we will go through the beautiful valley of AssifQati. You will certainly be dazzled by the greenery and architecture of the region, with its ochre-colored houses. We will break for lunch in the way out to the gorges of Alemdoum. We will pass the rest of the trip in the valley of Roses, in Boutaghrar. Overnight lodging.
Day 7: En route to Marrakech, the comeback – 6hrs of road
We will come back to Marrakech the seventh day. The trip will last 6hours as we should count 320kilometers between Boutaghrar and the capital city. We must therefore get up early. We will have some breaks on the way to admire the landscape and make some visits, such as the one of Ouarzazate. The city of Kalaat M’goun, the valley of Skoura and the Kasbahs will remain forever in our memories thanks to their atypical side. The break for lunch will be at Taddert. You will be at the hotel the afternoon.
Day 8: Good bye Marrakech
You will have free time to visit Marrakech before your departure. We will be assisting you to the airport and will take care of the transfer of your luggage as well.
